The Sims Soundtrack: Building Mode 5

You know what really annoys me? If you cry after reading a book, it is considered a great read. If you cry after watching a film, it is considered a masterpiece of film making. But if you cry over the memories of a video game, people consider you to be 'sad' with 'no life'.

Nigga you have no life if you're on here

Likewise, if you cry after listening to music, it's either considered a moving masterpiece, or that it has deep emotional connotations for you.
I'm not saying all video games are art. I'm not saying that all gamers will consider the same games art. But to consider the medium in its totality to be lacking artistic value, or to say it's impossible for certain games to be art, or to have an emotional meaning for the player is just flat-out wrong and narrow-sighted.

Hey, anon. Don't let what people think affect you. Sometimes, things are sad and if you can't bear it, it's ok to cry.
Great game, I remember having a copy of Double Deluxe back in the day. I recently replayed it and it feels like the game has aged poorly compared to its sequels.

This comment can be found on that video, and it seems to be genuine.

Sims 3 is at its absolute best now, though

Explain for someone who hasn't played Sims 3 in years.

plenty mods
plenty expansions

Still a buggy, laggy piece of shit. How anyone can stand playing that disaster is beyond me when time seemingly freezes twice every minute.
I'd rather go back to Sims 2 or just The Sims instead of 3.

Fun fact: This piece is entirely improvised. I forget the story, but apparently the composer was going through a really rough patch in his life, so he just sat down at the piano and played what he felt.
The more you know.
