Oh, we all, we all become one. Oh, we all, we all become one. Oh, we all, we all become one. Oh, we all, we all become one. Stop breathing. Start leaving. Before we all become one. Run. Oh, we all, we all become.

cringiest thread on 4chan right now
I played the entire game and still don't know what you're quoting.
Great song

The evacuation always bothered me because it sounded like people were committing mass suicide to escape the corruption.

Is the singer literally advocating for mass suicide or is "leaving for the country" a term with double-meaning?

After all the fun I had with Bastion, Transistor felt inferior and boring. Didnt even finish it.

The 'country' does seem to be a word for death or the afterlife in the game. Maybe it's a more certain thing for these digital people, so it's a valid escape route in the event of a doomsday event.

really? Felt both were pretty good but different. Transistor felt more accomplished gameplay wise where as Bastion had a cooler story to go through. I hope they can nail both aspects in pyre. First (and hopefully last) digital game I preorder. It's a really stupid concept but I feel like they deserve my money after I bought their last 2 games on sale

I feel the opposite way. Bastion had better gameplay. Transistor made up for its inferior gameplay with a better story, artstyle and soundtrack.
Transistor had some fun ideas but a few fuck ups that made it annoying.
Blue was an interesting character but his position stopped him being as good a narrator as Rusk was, so you didn't get much exposure of the locations.
Plus the time stop feature should have been something you balanced with real time, kinda like in Max Payne games. Instead you have to blow all your whole gauge and run around until it refills.
