Looked like movement was way too slow and I hate the aesthetic of the environments. The former is particularly important because it looks even slower than any of the characters in Mario 3D World and that was already dreadful if you played as anyone but Toad.

That other fox game, Tunic, looks a lot more promising.

That doesn't sound like a good investment, I'd play nothing on it, not exactly a fan of its catalog. I don't like most western games, and most of the jap shit on it isn't thrilling either, or I can get it somewhere else. Besides, I don't have 100 bucks to spare.

Too cutesy for me. Looks alright enough, a decent modern take on the n64-era 3d platformer and everything Yooka-Laylee strived to be (At least visually/gameplay wise) but it's so straight-lacedly aimed at literal children it hurts.
