Is the CLOUD PROCESSING meme a real thing? It's seems like this will be the only game to take advantage of it, and only for the multiplayer.
The gamescom 2015 demo of it was interesting but could've been running on a really good rig for all we know. We haven't seen the fully destructible stuff since.
Apparently its still in the game, in the multiplayer only part. Single player being played in co-op apparently does not equal this multiplayer component they are talking about. So its likely to be a whole separate mode from the menu, without any of the gang killing, and less NPCs/stuff on the map to make it actually "work".

I think what this game is "taking advantage of" is having shit tier ps2 graphics to allow what shitty little destruction physics a console can muster.
As much hype as this game gets on /v/ it looked incredibly bland from the gameplay trailer

Its dead.
The reason they're even making the Xbox One X is because cloud processing was always a joke and they have to somehow make promises on their ideas in the early days of the generation.

They can get away with it because the graphics were always cel-shaded/stylized.

The game still runs on normal xbone and is 30fps on both.

As someone who has never played crackdown and isn't really interested in this game, the trailer was really poorly executed. They had so many cuts and close ups that I couldn't tell what the fuck I was looking at half the time. They only thing I took away from the trailer is that you blow shit up.
I saw some gameplay afterwards that looked a bit better but I'm still not really interested.

Visually its way less impressive than expected. Even for a stylized game like Crackdown 1, 3 does not have that same kinda impact visually.
They should have went had black shading like Ultimate Spiderman or MvC3. Give it a comic look. It looks very flat and the particles are very poor compared to most games

That's true too, I didn't want to focus on the graphics too much because even if they game did look great they still did a terrible job making a decent trailer. The only consolation is that they showed gameplay.

it was purely bullshit to rationalize always-online, and was obvious as such at the time.
it's a meme
"Cloud Processing" would have (major) lag between the processing then delivery unless you're right next to the "Cloud Processor"
those mud monsters can run off the console easy
Why is MS bad at keeping promises?
