You think you are being funny but they will. It took CPY almost a year to bruteforce it and come up with bypass.

For Denuvo 5 it will take approximately the same time, because they are back with legit VMprotect they are allowed to use.

Gonna have to eat less ameriburger to play vidya now coz you will have to pay for the next year or so
>>
>>380830871
sure thing, same thing was said about v4 and that didnt last at all
>>
>>380830871

Who cares. Pirates know they just wait and will get it

People like me can support the dev and secure initial sales for pc lest you want devs to stop releasing at similar dates to consoles in fear of piracy

Win-Win

>>
There's no reason for a dev to not use Denuvo since they get all their money backed if it's cracked early on.
>>
>>380829851
Will this version use pirated software as well?
>>
Rime had millions of triggers every minute and still got cracked in a few days, so good luck.
>>
>>380830975
>this ignorant argument again

V4 was instacracked because it did not have VMprotect. But legal dispute settled now and VMprotect back in business for Denuvo.

At least get familair with the subject before making claims and being a tool.

>>380830982
>Who cares. Pirates know they just wait and will get it
That's true.
It just a matter of how long they are ready to wait.

Some of them already waited 1-2 years ofr first gen of Denuvos. How any of them will manage another year of wait? Quite a few will break and it always victory for Denuvo.
>>
>>380831157
Again, RiME used v4 of Denuvo that did not have VProtect to obfuscate and hide these triggers.

Does not matter if 1-2 or trillion, if they are wide open you can fuck it.

Which is why the new about Denuvo settling legal issues with Vmprotect is bad new for piratefags in the light of D5.
You can't really "crack" Vmprotect iterations to use universally and besides VMP there is Denuvo's own algorithm changes. Bruteforcing it will requite very long time so don't expect crack until late 2018-early 2019

Reading helps.
Understanding the topic and what a person is talking about too

Not that anyone on /v/ is capable of it

>>380829851
Denuvo is scam tier since V4. Can't believe devs still fall for it.
>>
>>380831339
So they sold their anti-tamper to an indie developer even though it literally could not possibly do anything?

Bullshit.

it fucks with the games performance

Wonder who this could be...
>>
>>380831478
Nah, I disagree. The point of Denuvo is to be able to change and adapt quickly. I think some version of StarForce arent cracked by this day...

>>380831565
>So they sold their anti-tamper to an indie developer even though it literally could not possibly do anything?
No, v4 used their own VM which was utter shit, a placeholder. It is nothing compare to VMprotect

>>380831803
Slavs aint fat too, lack of food due to poorfaggotry is nothing new to them. You can't scare as lav with that but it terrifies amerifat.

Excuse me, i'm just going to pirate this wine

:^)
>>
>people think the purpose of denuvo is to make games pirate proof forever
It's main purpose is to fend off pirates for a week or two after release because games these days are sold on hype and most people buy shit on day one because apparently "gamers" never fucking learn their lesson and just can't fucking wait. After all if you can't shitpost with your friends on facebook about how you are all playing that new game you are a loser so better shell out them sixty shekels instead of waiting for a crack.

Some people might be afraid to admit it but denuvo will eventually win against the pirates, its a battle of attrition.
>Denuvo keeps becoming harder and harder to crack
>takes longer for crackers to crack game
>more games begin to use denuvo
>crackers won't be able to keep up
>Denuvo becomes affordable
>Even indie games start to use it
>All games begin to use an anti piracy measure
>Crackers literally can't keep up
If anything some big releases might get cracked but expect to stop getting niche games for free
