Friend of mine saw this brand new for 20$ at a local shop already. Nobody in the FGC gives 2 shits about this except the OGs and even they couldn't pretend to care for more than a couple weeks. What a disaster.

This is a good re-release because it gets kids growing up playing modern fighters a chance to see what started it all.

People like to harp on how badly Darkstalkers Resurrection did, but Capcom spokespeople have said that the entire trend of all of those old fighter rereleases they did last gen was downward. Darkstalkers just happened to be on the tail end. So when SF2 was set to be rereleased yet again, it didn't look very likely that it was going to sell well either.
