>He isn't building a PC more powerful than the Xbox One X for the same price
PC always wins baby ;)
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GRYtFd
>That build
>as powerful as an XboneX
Even when you pretend that games aren't going to be optimized for consoles, that build is still going to have worse performance.
1070 is cheaper than an xXboneXx, savings go towards a 165hz monitor instead. PC blows it out of the water so badly it's not even funny.
Shit build, Xbox One X outperforms that.
Because of optimization you need to spend a bit more. I'd get an SSD and at least a GTX 1060, a mechanical keyboard and multi-dpi mouse of choice. Now you're beating the Xbox One X and you're not gimping yourself on shit hardware.
Of course, give it a few months and it'll get cheaper to compete with it.

>GTX 1070

enjoy min settings

0/10 op nice try
>he literally risks losing performance and dealing with bugs and errors by using the same platform as all of his documents and media
Don't shit where you eat, homie
>>380812814
I already built a $1000 PC using my I'm retarded and dropped out money. Ain't too bad, and once I install some more hard drives I'm going to be set for gaymen for at least 5 years excluding the nintendo shit I gotta grab.
>not already having a gtx 1080 but playing on xbox out of comfiness
pc gaming sucks dick
>>380814505
For multiplayer games yeah. Most of the time the PC versions are dead.
But PC will always reign supreme for single player games.
>>380814505
This. Nothing like it
>Mustard race in charge of understanding console optimization
Listen to Carmack for once please
I love when PC tards try to cut the cost of builds by acting like anyone would want to use $4 mice and keyboards.
Issues with "budget" PC builds
- You'll want a controller for some games, just how it is. $25-40
- You'll want at least a $20+ mouse
- You'll want at least a $20+ keyboard
- You'll then want a mousepad. $10
- You'll then want an SSD. $60+ for a small one just for OS+ a couple games
- You'll then realize you fell for the "budget" AMD meme and want to change out your CPU/Mobo for at least an i5. $300+
- You'll then want a monitor over 60hz. $150+
- You'll then want a 1070 or better once you realize that games look better on the Pro/X due to optimization vs your 570. $300+.
- It never ends.
>>380814006
I get minimum 60 fps at 1440p with new games and anything older than a year or so I get 90-144 fps. Settings mostly at high-ultra depending on game. Obviously some have shit optimization and I have to drop shadows or SSAO down a bit.
This thread just happened and it ended with PCgamers being unable to explain why spending $1000 for a similar pc is worth it.
>>380813893
>Shit build, Xbox One X outperforms that.
> a mechanical keyboard and multi-dpi mouse of choice
got a mechanically keyboard now i get 1000000 FPS
>>380815130
I don't have an issue with my shitty 9 year pre packaged mouse changed PC twice and never even considered changing cant say I feel input loss
>unironically buying AMD
>>380812814
No OS, no display, no cables, no games... I could go on but I'm too busy actually playing games on my PS4 The Pro is give a damn
>>380812814
>no UHD Bluray drive
>no controller
>no OS
Missed out a couple things that take it way over budget. Xb1x wins.
>that build
>dead socket ret cpu
>no aftermarket cooler on an amd cornprocessor
>3 planks of ram
>case with built-in psu
the only semi-worthwhile thing in this is the gpu
Not even close to the value of a console. No blueray first of all. I like PC too but the XBX is a hard price to beat based on performance.
You've made this thread more times than I can count today. Leave it to /v/ to get this triggered over what people buy.
>>380819130
>No OS
Windows 10 trial and just ignore the purchase messages
>no display
Television. Besides you console fags never include the TV price.
>no cables
Included with purchase (mobo has sata cables, psu has power ones, monitor will have power and hdmi)
>no games
Steam summer sale. If you're too poor for that then idk what to say
>>380819164
Also
>no Dolby Atmos compatible soundcard
>no vapor chamber cooling
>no warranty for when it breaks
Enjoy your $499 shitbox, with literally worse parts for everything other than the CPU
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yznFLD
For 150 dollars more you get something that's not bad for 1080p 60 fps gaming.
If you have money to spare buy a better case, CPU, Mobo, SSD, and 16gb RAM.
>>380820536
Oh and by the way having an SSD completely crushes the performance of an XoX. Why don't consoles have the option for an SSD for the OS at least?
>actually paying for OS
Are these kids for real?
>>380820814
Always install Gentoo
>>380820536
>8g ram
>430w psu
>no aftermarket cooler
better get that meme ssd though amirite
>>380813061
>aren't going to be optimized for consoles
when will you console babies learn that all "optimization" these days is just adjusting resolution and graphic settings to achieve 30fps or 60fps
A game doesnt suddenly run better by magic on consoles. Especially now that with the ps4 pro and xbone x segmenting it further

all retard conjecture
also who doesnt have a mouse and keyboard and mousepad laying around
and at least we have the option to just add an SSD or a better monitor
>>380812814
>implying you're going to find an rx 570 for $185 anywhere

by the time the xbone x is on the market GPU supply will be back up
