Setting aside the alleged spyware, how bad is Origin in terms of usability? Is it more annoying than using Steam? Or is it less popular simply because it came later and has fewer games?

I have a few Origin games (from bundles and free give-aways) which I haven't played, and I wouldn't mind playing them if Origin is no more intrusive than Steam is.

I've gotten into a match within 5 minutes every time I played, but its been around a month since I last put the game on.

It's basically just a launch screen like what LoL has. The only downside of it is literally that it uses some memory.
