The AI cheats ridiculously hard. The second fight on level 4 difficulty for me is Master Mummy, and this is some SNK level boss faggotry. He reads every single input you do, and plows through you with 200 damage throws, an arm that deflects EVERYTHING you can throw at him, and heals when guarding.

The moment you try and guard, he reacts with a throw. Any and all jumps, dashes, and punches can be counter with his super. He will heal to full each and every single time the HP healing zone appears.

I can only imagine how much more bullshit higher difficulties are.

How playable is this with my Switch in tablet mode with Joycons attached? I've had the console since day 1, but I've never felt the need to hook it up to my TV, since Zelda and Disgaea are more comfy in handheld mode.

Playing the grand prix for a good 3 hours and only on the 6th fight.
Didn't have a switch during the test punches and attempting the game on difficulty 3.
Having fun, but it's not without its frustration.

Guys I was wondering, what's the best bang for the buck when it comes to timers? Should I choose long or medium timer? I'm an idiot so I can't remember exactly, but I think with medium timer I was able to get 7 weapons and with the long timer 12, which would imply medium is better. What do you guys think?

I have some bad luck. Springman on the basketball mini game was fucking awful.
He'd score from anywhere and any attempt at a grab he'd counter burst it nullifying my arms and then throw.

Yeah, but what are the real advantages of using them? What niche does it fill?
The two projectiles seem pretty light weight and will get taken down by most other punches. They also don't seem to cover that much larger of an area compared to more standard arms.
Uncharged it seems that only one of the two projectiles hit most of the time doing only about 70 damage. Although if both hit it does about 105 total. I suppose they do above average damage when charged so maybe that's their role.

I stick with one straight glove and one curved. I throw the curved one most often but when my opponent thinks it's safe to dash forward I throw out the straight. I also throw out the charged straight when they're open so I can get a free stun and grab/super.

I have a feeling they still wont havr any in stock when splatoon releases.

Don't own a switch so haven't tried this game out. When announced at the switch reveal it looked terrible and gimicky as fuck.

However after seeing it played during the treehouse looks like it could be a fun party like brawler. Still seemed kinda slow for a fighting game, as well as floaty due to range being a big part of the battle.

I played Helix for most of the Testpunch. His stretch gimmick is fun enough but really gets good once you start unlocking new arms for him. Byte and Barq play fine, only used them for a few matches. Byte doesn't feel underpowered without Barq, or overpowered with them. Considering that spamjara isn't dead Helix is an OK pick because his dodge is also a duck, opening doors to punish

I think most devs are just "lazy" about it because it takes time and resources to do it right.
Try Modnter Boy(which is an amazing remake)and go to the healer. You'll feel like water flushing on the controller. Its amazingly strange.
Zelda is just a regular rumble, and so is ARMS, which was pretty disappointing.
i have really great expectations for Prime 4 on this regards. I want to feel every shake of samu's cannon.
If you ignore the hd rumble anyway, you still have two wireless controllers with good gyro and, rumble.
aiming with the right joycon in Zelda is the best feeling ever. Its like the comfiness of the Wii, but you don't even have to aim at the screen.
