So the PS4 is like $200 now. I'm considering picking one up. I don't have next gen or a new PC, so I've missed out on this entire generation of new games.
How long do you think the PS4 will last for and what games should I get?
What games do you like? I know what games I wanted before caving in.
>Ratchet and Clank (2016)
I'm a huge fan of the franchise and wanted this game immediately.
>Persona 5
Played Golden on my Vita and couldn't wait for this one.
>Gravity Rush 2
Pretty fun game
>Horizon: Zero Dawn
>The Last Guardian
>Bloodborne
Never played a Souls game before, but loving Bloodborne so far.
>Uncharted 4
Multiplayer is great, and people can jump in without playing the previous three.
>Tearaway Unfolded
Beautifully crafted plat former with some humor
Those were some of the games I picked up last November when I bought the PS4 Slim brand new from Amazon.
The PS4 probably has another year on it. Seems like Sony and Microsoft would sooner release more powerful installments of the same console than launch an outright new console.
Get Bloodborne, Persona 5, Dragon Quest Builders, and DOOM.

I definitely want Persona 5 and Bloodborne. As well as Dark Souls 3.
Even if Sony/Microsoft release new version of their consoles, the PS4 will still get games on it, right? I don't want to buy the PS4 just so it can become outdated within a few years.
