Awakening. Hands down, start with that. If you like it go to echoes, dont touch the other 3ds ones unless you're a waifufag or like shit games

Echoes if you want a good story, Fates Conquest if you want a good strategy game

Awakening is a good starting game. A lot of the autists on here dislike it cause it's game play gets a lot easier farther in due to some OP mechanics, but for a new player it should feel fine.

Honestly, awakening is the best starting point. I started with fates since it was newer and got Awakening later but it was honestly a mistake. Plus you don't have to dish out a minimum of $80 just to play every path. Most people here suggest echoes afterwards and I'm pretty sure that's a good idea too.
