MGSV is the only game in the series that I never player more than once, and even then I was getting a massive feeling of "been there, done that to death" towards the end of the game. The gameplay mchanics are excellent, but what you can do with that gamplay in the game is abysmally repetitive.

I personally expected literally nothing from PW, but ended up clocking over 300 hours on it on my OG save. And replaying the plot alone just under 30h a couple weeks before TPP shipped. It simply is damn much FUN to play, and a great Outer Heaven simulator. Lots of /k/ommando porn too, at which V fails horribly for going with franken-weapons.

How about this: The soldiers that are KO'd or sleeping by the end of a mission automatically end up being recruited. That way, going non-lethal and doing things fast and efficient is rewarded, and the grind aspect of the base building becomes a lot less annoying.

I haven't. I only seen my brother playing it, and so far the world is much more linear and the enemies are way faster, almost Bloodborne like fast.

Turns out both things are the main complains I've seen for the games, which reduce the replayability since exploration and build variety are important points for it (that's why DaS 2 is so replayable). But I can see that hardcore Souls fans replay it a lot.

I'm on mission 40 or something and getting close to the final story mission but I'm running out of resources pretty quickly and all my platforms are at 3/4 completion. Is my only option to grind out and Fulton soldiers or play FOB? Any way to make unprocessed materials speed up?
