I'm obviously referring to Enemy Territory's specific type of objective-based gameplay where the map is asymmetrical and broken up into multiple objectives that can vary from escort objectives, capture objectives, to destroy objectives, usually a mix of those in one map. CoD's previous gameplay modes don't fall into this category, neither do shit like Counter Strike or TF2 where there is only one objective per map.
