Has he created his magnum opus yet? Is there still time? He had almost next to no input in Breath of the Wild

Of course he has, Mario 64 is still king of 3D platformers 20 years on

Nope.
He literally is an autistic man child that Yamaguchi took pity on years ago
He created it and has long entered full decline mode, I would go as far as saying that he has entered the senile dementia stage by now.
Super Mario Bros imo
With one title he basically defined player control and level design
do you genuinely believe that games are like paintings and are only ever created by one person at a time?
>>380723038
Pretty much this, it's he best 3d platformer and perhaps onr the beet games ever made.
Galaxy, odessey, banjo, conker, Jak and other platformers can't really compare to it.
Inb4 some contrarian says crash, sunshine or banjo.
This is pure kino the others simply can't live up to this game. I didn't even finsih it as a kid but as an adult and it still holds itself today.
Does anyone else even come close to this?

Movies are considered art. With a team.
Still one mans vision.
Novels are crap.
>>380723849
What making two games and rehashing the shit out of them?
I'm sure a lot of people have, especially at Ubisoft, EA and Activison
>>380723849
yes look at the games koizumi made.
