so i started to play this game and was almost cumming from enjoyement because modern games were dead to me for a long time. but while i was playing prologue i died on the factory and game decided not to save before that and i must start over again. is this a bug or?

Yes.
Play the prologue on NORMAL or EASY (if you're playing on HARD or NORMAL and are having a hard time).
Afterwards you reach SAVE POINTS, switch to whichever you want to play.

No, it's not a bug. The game doesn't let you save until you beat the prologue.
