I'm not the guy you're responding to, but the benefit for me is having multiple games accessible while on the go without needing to carry multiple game cards. Certain games that I might want to play at a moment's notice to kill time (Mario Kart, Tetris, etc.) are the top candidates. Single-player games that have an ending and not a ton of replay value (Zelda) are better off physical since I'm not gonna need to have that on me all the time long after I've finished the game.

That said, I still try to get physical for most of my collection. Phsysical guarantees that you'll always have a copy that isn't tied to an account or reliant on available system storage space to be playable. It can also be popped into any console, which for a system like Switch that currently has NO form of system/account transfer, is pretty important.

Pro Controller's D-Pad tends to be fucky and likes misclicking your Left/Right inputs as Up, which is aggravating in something like Puyo Puyo Tetris. Good controller otherwise, for ARMS you can use it to get the hang of the mechanics, though the motion controls offer more flexibility for in-game arm movement.

Just make sure you don't slide your finger across the dpad. If you actually don't slide it but instead press left and right on the dpad, then no matter how fast you can, can't really get false inputs that way.

I have a pro controller too, and I can further explain what this anon means about it misreading d-pad inputs. When you're pressing the left or right sides of the d-pad, you can kinda tilt the d-pad up or down and it'll read it as though you can pushed in that direction. In many games, this would just read as a diagonal movement, but pushing up at all in Puyo Puyo Tetris makes the pieces instantly drop.
That being said, I've found it pretty easy not to do that with my pro controller but perhaps mine just has a stiffer d-pad that makes it harder to do so accidentally.

Well that sounds a lot more frustrating than my situation. These are the problems of people that have to rely on the mailing system to get their games on release. If you ask "why don't you go to a store?" there isn't any. The only video game store over here rarely gets new games because they're cheap and poor. So I just order games online.

It's a quirky fighting game but it's also a new Nintendo IP so everyone seems to be going apeshit. Truly worth a couple hours of fun but everyone is so starved for the Switch to have anything good at all that everyone is collectively praising this nothing game. Is there a term for this? Debating whether or not i should get this game. One of the big flags for me would be if traditional input methods were actually superior to motion controls. I like the idea of play a fighter with motion controls, but if the optimal playstyle were to be to just sit there with my pro controller in my hands that would pretty much destroy the appeal for me.
