Pretty much this. Phanta Rei was supposed to be Capcom's next-gen engine and last I heard they had run into a lot of trouble getting it working. It's pretty telling that they're going back to MT Framework to develop Monster Hunter world.

Can Capcom go ahead and die already. Outside of Monster Hunter World, what exactly do they have in production that's promising? Ever since this generation started most of their games have either been mediocre or outright disasters, and it boggles my mind that they're allowed to exist.

I love Capcom, and they're one of my favorite devs, but as they are currently I'd rather the company not exist anymore.
