It's been YEARS since I played Crash 3, was there a difference between Crash and Coco gameplay wise? I vaguely remember different crystals but I'm not sure.

In Crash 3 Coco was only playable in the Jet Ski levels, the Tiger Riding levels, one of the bi-plane levels and the N.Gin boss fight. Basically she was always riding an animal or a vechile. Crash was playable in all the platforming levels, the motorbike levels, swimming levels and one bi-plane level, as well as the other 4 boss fights.

In the remake you can choose to play as either Coco or Crash in any platforming level, but Vechile/gimmick levels, as well as boss fights are stuck with thier original character. This is across all 3 games, not just Warped.

Also when you finished some stages, there will be new power ups (Double Jump, a bazooka, etc)
