Good, tank maps were fucking boring in WaW, the maps that featured them were too big for 6v6, and it was a slog trying to destroy them. If you want tanks play Battlefield, CoD is a fast paced, tight quarters arcade shooter.

No it isn't. The old games had lots of open maps with longer sightlines and it was a lot more engaging than the same shitty reskinned CQB hallway maps over and over.
