Up until abour last year, I'd fallen out of vidya pretty hard because of all the shitty AAA releases. A while back, my friend loaned me his original copy of Dark Souls, and I decided to give it a try.
Almost a year later, nearly all i play are challenging, but fair games.
Any recommendations?

>>>/vr/I'm not kidding either. Don't expect to find games fitting that description that are less than 10 years old.

Volgarr if you like 2D games
Spelunky or Rouge Legacy. Any game in that genre, really.

I'd say the opposite, actually.
A lot of older games (Which are still amazing), would often be more punishing than a lot of newer games I've played. Hotline Miami;s a good example of that, through fast-paced trial and error the keeps you engaged, where a game Like Fallout 1 just sort of throws you out in the world with little direction. I love both of those games, but Fallout is definitely more challenging to me.

This meme is disgusting and is the worst part of Souls' popularity.

Really> I'd say the worst part of Souls' popularity is all the "git gud" fags.
