I started with Civ 4 and I personally like 4 more than 5. Plus 4 is better optimized and dont require some superior PC to be able to play on large maps with lot of civs without spending 10 minutes on every AI turn.

Plus, 4 is more stable with mods, even if operate on only one at time. And 4 have GREAT mods like famous Fall from Heaven 2 (play it, seriously, you could buy 4 for this mod alone) or Caveman 2 Cosmos which expand game so much that games takes WEEKS to finish (and in the meantime makes each turn pass extremely slowly but hey).

I would suggest to grab 4 now if the discount is good and later, if you wish, 5 on Steam. Both are good games but I like 4 more.

Try to grab Alpha Centauri too. And dont bother with Civ 3.

It was worth it when I bought it at PC release for full price, boxed version for 80 PLN aka around 18 EUR and its still worth even full price, so grab it while its on discount.

I cant explain it, I just love the game. Start pretty slow but once you immerse yourself into combat system, sea of details (what other games makes your initial weight and size important statistic, affecting climbing speed and stamina cost/regeneration?) and class/skills system. Going full DMC with Strider/Assasin and animation break skill and dual daggers supported with bow was properly crazy.

Get Dragons Dogma, seriously.

Not on all games and lack of DRM doesnt mean that game is a pirate. Sometimes they simply couldnt provide a game without making such adjustments or it would be much harder, if security solution dont work anymore or would refuse to cooperate with new systems.

Thanks to GOG, I could legally grab some games I would have very hard time finding over internet or forcing them to work on new hardware. I couldnt get Age of Wonders 2, Silent Storm or SMAC the other way. Its all that matters to me.

Maybe its just how I feel. I have a feeling that character dont even need a car, since she runs as fast as normally car would. Game felt like 2x speed movie so far, except cutscenes where everything looks as it should be.

Temple of the Elemental Evil is turn-based and one of my favorite D&D games.

It is very heartwarming, more to feel than to play so some people might find it lacking. I loved it tho but never completed due to that stupid part where you had to jump into dungeon during the race.
