Zero is the older game and comes first technically in the chronology, but both Zero/Ao and Cold Steel 1/Cold Steel 2take place right around the same time, so the order isn't that important.

Also, playing the Zero/Ao arc before the Cold Steel arc spoils Cold Steel more than playing Cold Steel before Zero/Ao spoils Zero/Ao. I personally recommend playing cold steel after sky, then going to play zero/ao

This is correct, in an non ironic way. CS2 is not linear in it's middle stretch, so you can complete it very quickly if you want, or take it slow and go visit everywhere. Even the epilogue dungeon, which is normally seen as filler can be completed very fast if you skip the chests and just fight the 4 bosses.

What i did was:

Got to level 6, bought Lloyd a new weapon, went to the department store and bought him clothing with + 10 DEF, and boots with + AGL. Gave him Evade, speed, and a fire orbment + water. Placed him in the far back so that Wald doesn't hit me at first when i buff up with Forte, then i use my S-break, Wald will delay himself by talking mid fight, and hits me. Then i used the other food item that gives + 20% STR, to buff up more but i ended up wasting it since i ran out fast before i could use it properly. I also did get lucky and dodged twice, AGL accessories and quartz helps. Then, when the buff ran out i battle scoped him, healed when necessary, and buffed up again and when he was around 358 or so HP, i attacked and did an S-break which hit him for 400 i think, and i won.

I had 4 tear balms with me for the fight. Didn't really have to farm all that much.
