It's in every way inferior to DayZ.
DayZ doesn't FORCE encounters. You don't have to kill anybody. You can play DayZ as an RPG.
Also sickness system, dynamic weather, ballistics, blood system, temperature system, zombies, much bigger map, more weapons, customizable weapons, etc.

DayZ is much more complex than PUBG. Also PERMADEATH.

It's just a zombie mode and entirely different to the zombies in DayZ. It's basically player controlled "zombies" that hunt a small group of survivors. Nothing more.

I wanted to get into this game but I feel like I missed the window for new players and it's probably all veterans and their squads of operators now.

It really needs an optimization patch instead of any new content though.

Game barely fucking runs. When it holds together long enough to have a stable 60fps with no lag, stutter, load in, and other random problems, its very fun. But thw amount of shit just failing at any one second is nuts.

Too bad the devs seem way more interested in just adding shit instead of fixing shit.

Does anyone else have a problem with not being able to see where the fuck enemies are? I've been playing this game for about 3 days with my friends and they'll be shooting off in the distance at enemies and I can't see shit. And yes, I'll have the same scope they have. This lost us the game once because I literally didn't see where my friends were shooting/where we were getting shot from

Do you stand in the same position? Trees often block your vision, that could be it. Lowering your texture settings could help you too, but it will look terrible and it's a lame way to get an advantage. Also try to lay still or sit still behind a tree and look for muzzle flashes or movement.

Yep, occasionally. It has a lot to do with your positioning relative to the enemy. I have been in the same boat. Running at 3440x1440 helps a bit though.

You'll get the hang of it. Sometimes you just get in the zone when it comes to pixel hunting. I spotted like 6 groups that my friends didn't see last match and sometimes it's the other way around.

Sometimes it's good to just go sit up by a tree, don't move and watch the area while your friends loot.

Hammer it out for like 15 hours and you'll be doing fine.

Learn the map and be patient but proactive and you'll always do well.

Duo modes and group modes are much easier to learn in because you're much more likely to end up in a shootout and much less likely to get shotgunned to the face by a guy that's been waiting 20 minutes or shot in the back by a sniper when you're forced to run to a new zone.

The shooting in this game feels like shit and the down but not out system is retarded. Headshot someone across the map, buddy picks them up even though I shot him 5 more times. Even worse, it doesn't cost anything. At least make it require a first aid kit.

The shooting is terrible, the optimization is bad, but the game can be a fun, tense game. It certainly has potential if they ever fix the glaring issues with it.

Don't take shots if you can't follow up and kill them. Or use the downed person as bait and down his teammates.
Also, there is definitely a price to it: every time you get downed, the damage over time you take while being downed gets increased. The third time you're downed, your teammates have to revive you super fast or else you're dead.
