This is my guilty pleasure. Objectively it's not a great game but I've played thru on 3ds and later on Wii U. Raid Mode is addicting. I just wish that the enemies weren't all bullet sponges and that physical attacks were more fun (I've only played RE4). The script is so terribly translated that the story was almost incomprehensible.

I think it was actually great. Didn't hit the highs of RE4 but it's the best action RE since. RE5 ruined the atmosphere by adding a sidekick. RE6 ruined the pacing with nonstop action. REV1 was a good mix and I agree about raid mode, it's pretty great.

It's a great game in my opinion. I think the Revelations games were really good, specially the second one.
