I'm trying to remap my controler to play bloodborne because the set controls are ass, but remapping buttons on the ps4 if a brain wrecking nightmare. I want it to control more like Oot zelda and bayonetta, how do i map it correctly?
Here's an example of what i want it to be like
Are you twelve or just special needs?

No, i'm just asking for help
>>380552184
From what I understand of this image, do you want the configuration on the left page or the right page?
Just play it regular you autist
>>380553134
I'd try both of them and tweak it out after. But mostly the right.
dont ever come to this website again

>wrote down what you wanted
>incapable of writing down what it is by default and comparing the two
>>380552141
Dumbass, you realize you'd end up having to control the menus with that fucked up customization too, right?
>>380553253
That's what i've been doing, and it sucks the default way
>>380553447
I did that too but the system swaps each button you edit fucking it up every time
>>380553742
Yes, i do know. I've just been getting used to it
>>380552184

I'll give it a shot since I've not really done this before with Bloodborne and some of the buttons have multiple uses so I could be off on some layouts.
Left config:
X---> R1
O-->R2
Triangle-->L1 (weapon shift is weapon transform correct?)
Square--->Traingle
R2---->O
L2----->R3
R1---->X
L1---->Left or right on D-pad
Up on D-pad--->oprtions or touch pad, not sure which you mean exactly?
Right Config:
X--->X
O-->R1
Triangle--->R2
Square--->Triangle
R2--->O
L2--->R3
Up d-pad--->Options
R1--->L2
L2--->
Down on D-pad---->L1

Forgot L2 for config on the right: L2--->Left or right on d-pad I think
Dude, using triggers(l1,l2,r1,r2) as arm functions are literally the most convenient thing ever
>>380554827
>>380555178
It worked, thanks anon
>>380555237
It makes no sense to me, buttons are for melee, triggers are for shooting, that's how literally every other game does it.
>>380553974
>and it sucks the default way
Git gud, faggot.
There's nothing wrong with the R1/2 system.
>>380552141
just set circle to swap with L1 so you can dodge / sprint with full camera control. Circle will then transform your weapon.
There is absolutely nothing else you should change. Just get used to the other controls as their defaults. It's confusing enough having to use circle to scroll down lists quickly and L1 as the general "cancel" button
>too retarded to adapt to a control scheme
>too retarded to remap controls
Just end it now dude

You're welcome bro, it was my pleasure, I'd actually forgotten that button layouts on PS4 can be reconfigured. Your alternative button layouts are interesting and seem intutive enough, I might try them out myself. Have fun with Bloodborne, it's one of my personal favorites especially with the Old Hunters expansion.

Will do. I tried both and i think i'll stick to the left option, everything worked well except l1 r1 and the d-pad. I think down for weapon transformation, up for item select, L1 to use left weapons, and R1 to use items will be better

No wait, i can't switch weapon transformation or else it'll swap to something else
