Green Arrow was never directly pitted against Superman. Ollie has good hand-to-hand training and finesse but he never even took a pill. He was shooting Grundy in the face and disabling people with arrow gimmicks. I think the core of the story is where do you draw the line? I mean it's one thing to kill the Joker out of self-defense. It's another thing entirely to kill out of rage and revenge. But okay, let's say Superman is completely justified in killing the Joker. Which I honestly think he is. But then he starts saying that I want to kill anyone that even thinking about committing crimes. And then he says I want to kill people that are already imprisoned. Oh now you want to kill people who think you're going too far. What about people who just like the other Heroes better than you? You going to kill them too? What you offering suggestion and somebody gives a counter argument so instead of addressing the argument you just kill them? And it doesn't matter whether or not they're your friends or enemies? So at what point do you stop killing people? Because at this point it seems like it you're killing literally anyone with no discrimination.
