I don't even particularly like Daisy but it seems like they're pulling inspiration from the most un-Mario parts of Mario games, so I'd like to see some stuff from Mario Land 1&2. It depends on how big a push that character gets. Rosalina was instantly memorable and played a significant role in Galaxy; her backstory helped matters as well. Nintendo picked up on how wildly popular she became, so they gave her a massive push, and now she's everywhere.

Pauline has potential to get that same push. While not in as central a role as Rosalina was in Galaxy, Pauline has a lot of history on her side. She's portrayed as upright and capable in Odyssey. The big kicker for her right now is her new image song, the big band single that plays in the background of the latest trailer. At this rate, as long as they don't drop her like a sack of potatoes, Pauline stands to gain some immense ground.
