There certain aspects of Monster Hunter that I point to to say that this is a Monster Hunter game. The flex, the fact that we have hunting CATS instead of dogs, rubbing your belly after eating steak, these are all things that add to the whimsical charm of Monhun despite the grotesque premise.

So when you drop something as unique as the flex to appeal to the West, you're not trying to sell the West on the series, you're just slapping the Monster Hunter brand on some generic game and trying to sell it to West. That's just pathetic.
