I'm sold on the Switch and I know for a fact I will get one eventually, but Nintendo has to fix one thing that has eluded them since the N64 days: third party support.
Without third party support, the Switch is fated to only remain within the confines of the Nintendo fans like the past four consoles. They need EVERYONE on the Switch, not just Nintendo fans.

I want a Switch, I'm just waiting for a potential revision. If Metroid Prime 4 comes out first then I'll bite the bullet, but typically Nintendo's hardware revisions happen within 1.5 years of release and MP4 will not be out by holiday 2018.

That's the thing though, it's both a console and a handheld, so I'm unsure. Every handheld gets an update, every console does not (except the Wii Mini). If they don't announce a revision next E3 then it'll be pretty solid proof they'll be sticking to one version, though I fully expect a Switch Mini at least.

I have a Switch and enjoy it, but I want F-Zero. I want F-Zero, and I want a new Monster Hunter. I'm actually bummed about this MH stuff because even though I have a PS4 and a PC, I'm used to the portability thing and the game can work well with that. I just got a switch. I played Zelda and Mario Kart on my brother's WiiU. I ordered Isaac from Amazon to have a portable time killer, and I want to get another game to play in the meantime.
Maybe Shantae or something, I want to buy disgaea but it looks like the sort of game that goes on sale for next to nothing often. Wonderboy looks ok but I heard it is very short.
Thumper looks interesting but short too.

Help me make up my mind, /v/. Or are there any suggestions? Is disgaea worth the price?

Virtual console. That's all I'm waiting for. If all I can play is shitty modern games I'm not going to enjoy it, especially when I purchased so many titles on Wii U virtual console and have so many psone classics.

I'm already sold on Switch cause of Xenoblade 2, FE Warriors, and Odyssey looks pretty neat so far, but Nintendo needs to double down on the third party and virtual console I feel to really succeed this gen. Like Skyrim and Minecraft alone isn't going to sell everyone on a Switch, and I think having something like Tales of Berseria, Marvel vs Capcom, or Dragon Ball FighterZ will do wonders for people who want an alternative to Nintendo games, and without having to download shit to their system to boot. Virtual console I feel is just a good way to reintroduce old hits to a new audience to drum up interest in different series and provide a small break to nee games.
Like half the reason Nintendo succeeded at E3 this year is because Sony disappointed everyone and Microsoft wasn't really trying to compete, so they actually had eyes on them this year who were interested in what they had to bring and were surprised not to see a VR AAA cinematic intergration experience.

I have enjoyed every minute of my Switch so far. I rarely play in docked mode though so the plastic around the joycon buttons looks dirty/greasy and I can't seem to get rid of it. I don't eat or drink while playing it and none of my other controllers/handhelds have had this problem. That's my only gripe with the machine though.

Someone brought theirs in to work and felt good so I bought one last night. Dunno if I've made the right decision yet but I really did like what I've seen of it and there's a few games worth owning.

Would be good if it gets some more third party shit but I've already got a good PC and PS4 already so I guess it doesn't even matter.

It's not going to have a sizable amount of real exclusives till late next year, and buying launch period Nintendo do hardware has not paid off in almost twenty years.

If you're so intent on selling me on the Switch, then I want you to list me one good game on the Switch. That's all. I'll gladly ignore the terrible hardware, gimmicky controls, and pay2play online for P2P servers, just need one good game. However, I have some conditions:
