I disagree. The originals were undisputed classics, and the newer games drifted away from the consumerist satirist themes of the original in favor of a generic chosen one hero story.

The writing almost certainly won't ever be as good, and the gameplay probably won't ever feel as smooth as it did.
So unless they knock it out of the park with level design, weapon variety (instead of just recycling) and enemies then no we won't.

That too. He's supposed to be like a teenager, doing the right thing because that's how he was raised but also looking for a leg up with a handful of selfish things here and there, but nothing major. Clank's hoity-toity personality naturally butts heads with Ratchet, but in the movie they have such a rushed arc of conflict -> make up that it felt so fake.

ACiT is rather poor. Story is stupid filled with "chosen one" cliche for both Ratchet AND Clank. Clank's time puzzles are terrible: primitive and suffer from repetition. Game-breaking bugs up the ass, easy as fuck to lose your entire save file. Weapon selection is completely stale at this point. Mini-planets are too samey. Space is underutilized, too few side-quests and combat scenarios are too formulaic.
