Lunar Silver Star Story was one of my favorites as a kid. All about friendship and the characters are fun.

oh, please name me your god-tier RPG so I can be enlightened like you, I have never found a turn-based RPG with customization like the GS games and openess like the first half of The Lost Age

suikoden 1 and 2. The first one is pretty meh but can be rushed through to get to the second

I had quite a blast with Stella Glow.

But it's a matter of preference.

Persona 5 just came out has pretty much all of that. Persona 4 is also friendship is used to kill god the game.
