Metro 2033 OG or Redux?

I want to replay the series before the new one. I've only played the OG, got the redux in some cheap bundle with LL.

I've heard the 2033 Redux is downgraded for consoles which is funny since its a 2010 game. I play them on hardest difficulty/ranger whatever
