XCX and P5 both challenged the gameplay/design styles they were going for and succeeded, berseria is just as bad as FFXV just in different ways. While berseria has a competent story and alright battle system, its world/dungeon design is absolute garbage

Berseria is boring as fuck. Its a hall simulator like most modern jrpgs and the "good" combat system is nothing more than button mashing.

For me:

P5 > Berseria = Final Fantasy XV

Berseria's massive amount of backtracking and awkward cutscenes at times hurt it, but I still enjoyed it. FFXV could have been something great, but even with it being in the shape its in I got enjoyment out of it.

I have not played XCX so I can't comment on it.

Why fight they're all awesome. SMT is a great turn based series that easily tops pokemon in the strategy department with heavy noire/detective post apocolyptic themes. Xeno is a great action series with great story, amazing chracters and the most impressive world building, And Tales of games have the superior fun and fast action combat bar none.

Don't give a shit about FF past 6 tho. that series is absolute trash now.

XCX's open world is far more interesting than FFXV's

Berseria had the best story and characters. P5 has the best combat (although its still really exploitable) and dungeon crawling. XCX is the best game to play when you're stuck on an island with plenty of time you need to kill. XV is best in a trashcan.
