>/v/ told me it was the best 2D Metroid ever made
>even Fusion was better
Why is /v/ always wrong?
>OP told me it was shittier than Fusion
>turns out it's amazing and just as good as some of the 2D metroids
Why does /v/ always lie to me?
its a new 2d metroid that you didn't pay for, and has pretty good production value
that automatically makes it better than 99% of AAA console games
so it's quality level is kind of superfluous? no its not as good as zero mission
So the game has 0 explorations and you are interrupted all the time by a talking computer telling you exactly where to go again? How vile
*steals your remake*
Where can you get it now that Nintendo went full NintenDON'T?

There's a fan version at 1.29.

>its a new 2d metroid that you didn't pay for, and has pretty good production value
exactly. if you had to pay 40 bucks for amr2 it would be considered shit because it's rehashing art from the snes and gba games
>>380467932
Do you know what's different? Anyone got a link?
>>380466063
It's a remake of an official Metroid-game, so of course it's gonna be as good as an official Metroid-game. They're not doing a good job at remaking it if they're making it worse, especially when the original was a little mediocre

Because that's how the story is supposed to go. The fans, after Nintendo neglected the franchise for so long, were supposed to revitalize the brand with a stunning new entry.
It's a nice story but that's not what happened. AM2R is obviously amateur. Sad thing is it's still probably better than whatever Nintendo could make.
Google it, spaz.

What's wrong with you, OP? Are you afraid of having your own opinion or something?
