I'd say if you can get it for at max 20$ it's really good value. Biggest problem it has is the shortness and general tightness of areas. Fun game though.

It's worth playing depending on what you likeed about previous DX games.
I highly enjoyed the exploration and finding neat details in the hubs, so for me this game was 10/10 will replay yearly.

I actually enjoyed it almost as much as HR. I think most of the complaints were the ending was shitty and the jewy DLC shit. While I don't support jew DLC practices, the game itself is solid. Granted, I spent most of my time fucking around the city instead of doing missions, but doing that alone was probably 20 hours. I stopped playing for another game and haven't made it back to it so I don't know how shit the ending actually is. $60 is steep though.

When people say "It's more AAA garbage all look no feel", they are talking about the type of game MD is to a tee.

In my opinion it was the best from the series and looked amazing but again i played on pc
Loading times are horrible because i don't have SSD
overall amazing missions, amazing areas and alright story

Bought it for 20$ and had a fucking blast. is my game of the generation behind bloodborne.

If i bought it for 60$ i'd be pissed since it is rather short.

It's not bad, but it's half a game. You can tell they rushed the fuck out of it.

DLC is good though.

Bosses are my single gripe with the game. Besides that it's 1 of last generations best games.

I hear the Directors Cut sorta fixes the bosses but i never played it.

It's not, why do people always assume it is ? because of the "mixed" on Steam ? Just read their arguments.

It's slightly better than HR. Better Hub, better side quests, better gameplay.

Also some people just think that a story that isn't self-contained means it's half a game or something like that when it's almost as long as HR. It took me 49 hours to finish it, 50 for HR.

As someone that loved DE1 and thought HE was one of the better games of the past few years I hated it. The gameplay is pretty similar to HE but I couldn't get past the awful writing which is a big part of DE games. They drew comparisons between the way 'augs' are treated and apartheid in the most heavy handed and boring way and never actually did anything with it. The other games give you a morally ambiguous premise and let you make your own mind up about what to think, this one just says 'racism is bad' and nothing else.
