Why is every new character's design in AA post 3 just over-the-top

It's a crutch for bad writing and character design. When they don't feel like putting effort into a character, they give them goofy hair, a weird appearance, a pun name, or w/e and call it a day.

Start looking at other games and you'll see it all the time. They don't want to put any effort into actually developing the character, so they do the stuff I listed above and say "See? He has cool hair and a funny name, so now he's interesting!".

Von Karma was just exaggerated strictness, class and authority with mone.

Adrian Andrews is an exaggerated dyke

Miney is an exaggerated airhead

Maggey is an exaggerated birb
