What do you expect? It's running on a tablet. Graphics aside, the game is great.
Funny enough, climbing the mountain was the best part of the game. Eating food to keep warm and rushing to find cover, then running into a Lynel and fighting to survive. Then shield riding down the mountain.
I will never understand the mountain meme.

Because even last gen, it took a lot of effort to make a free roaming game where you could seamlessly climb a mountain. Most games zoned it out into a separate instance. Though many hid it very well. Even Skyrim has some examples of this.
Skyrim also fucking sucked.
