Story went to shit after Revelations concerning the ancestor and went to shit after AC 3 concerning the modern day, and I've been pissed off about it ever since.

If Origins doesn't have a modern day protagonist to tie it all together I am legit boycotting the fuck out of this. Hopefully, the ancestor's story actually has a beginning, middle, and end, unlike Unity.

even though the altair and ezio games were stronger in terms of writing, the series has never exactly been stellar in that regard
