Not him but that would be like if Coyote killed the Roadrunner (he managed to capture it once but thats not the point), the "Bowser kidnaps the princess" formula works because Bowser has a reason to do that (which is marrying her, winning her heart), Peach marrying Mario would break the cycle

True but then it wouldn't be as fun anymore, we already saw them winning, it already ended once, and if they ever decided to end the franchise with another marriage it wouldn't be as big as the first time, Mario and Peach marrying is a pretty big deal.
