I just bought this and am about to play for the first time.

If you go Warrior, Reaver is the most fun specialization. The other two are boring as shit. Don't bother rolling a Qunari as their animations are bugged as shit and none of the weapons are scaled to their size. You also look like shit in 100% of the outfits you wear. Don't roll male elf unless you enjoy looking like an anorexic 12 year old.

Get out of the Hinterlands as fast as possible or else the boredom will set in and you'll never want to finish the game. Most of the sidequests are pointless busy work. If you want to get the most enjoyment out of the game, ignore them and focus on the main story.

Return it

Return it and buy anything else. Picked it up after some friends told me and is a fucking grindfest with shit characters horrible combat and SJW waifu-bait
