Then what's the issue? He's a burnt out rage furnace and you saw in last E3's trailer hint that he's probably a ticking time bomb. If you think that by the end of that game he isn't going to snap and reignite all over again, you're almost certainly wrong. The idea of an old Kratos struggling against his uncontrollable rage is way more interesting than young Kratos who just goes with it all the time.
