Getting away from all the Post E3 shitposting, I felt that which should revive this topic. Which is the correct way to denote Experience points /v/?
both are right
>>380345832
I feel like EXP.
But I don't mind either.
>>380345832
EXP is right.XP is left.
>>380346005
I personally disagree. I think EXP is better, but only because I have this feeling that 'XP' comes across more like market speak, or advertising, because you drop a syllable. Might just be from living in the era of 'Double xp weekends' that makes it seem like that, but it's my feeling on the matter.

Cheeky cunt.
you always must say "echs-pee" but you can write it as "EXP", especially if the game abbreviates it in this manner. but you must NEVER say "e-echs-pee"
>>380345832
I spell it as EXP and pronounce it as Echs-pee.
EXP is technically right, but XP is easier to say, so, XP
>>380345832
EXP if tabletop, XP if video games.
>>380345832
E eks pee makes zero sense
both xp and exp are shorts for experience.
You dont pronounce experience as Eee-Eks-Pe-Rience so why would you add that additional eee to the short?
>>380346789
this
>>380345832
Not doing so. How about making growth feel organic?
ehks-peh
short for experience so whether you SPELL it as EXP or XP you can only SAY it echs-pee as that is literally a shortened version of the full word
e-echs-pee is literally retarded

>I think EXP is better
Neither is better, but XP is more 'right' since the E is silent in Experience. So saying e-ex-pee is incorrect either way.
>>380349381
not the way i pronounce it
>>380349381
>E is silent in Experience
Sure bruh lemme mark some zzzperience down on my character sheet
