It looks like they took elements from every popular cutesy grind-fest game that have been relevant within the last few years (namely Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Stardew Valley) and threw it into a blender. The pleasant pastel palette doesn't fool me, I can see this for being the infinite grind to nowhere it is.

It's made by a wife and husband combo, kinda like the makers of Serpent in the Staglands. She's pretty cool actually. She liked programming so much she decided to make a game she wants. Purely self taught.

I used to watch her stream while working on the game because I wanted to see how Unity works under the hood and also she's cute. I'm not entirely sure what the partnership with Doublefine is because last I checked, she barely had a game and was working on the pathfinding of her levels.

I hope /v/ doesn't bully her like /lit/ bullied that girl who was really into books.
