I used to think that, but I think the real problem is that it doesn't reflect the cultural changes that have happened over the past 10-15 years. Coprporations are probably more evil now than they were in the past, but now their ideology and support are firmly entrenched on the left. You'd be hard pressed to find corporation that don't support the radical left's social policies and censorship, particularly technology corporations like Facebook, Google, Apple and Twitter.
I'd love to see a piece of media that portrays evil corporations as a part of the regressive left, so that they would better reflect reality.
