Why do people pre-order games? Why do people buy season passes? It sonds like a scam to me.
>buy AAA game for 70 buckaroos
>season pass announced before the game is even released, implying that the devs/publishers knew they're releasing unfinished game and try to milk more money from you by selling you essential content that should had been in the game to begin with
>buy the season pass for 20 buckaroos like the idiot you are, so 90 bucks total for one game
>play game for year
>sequel is announced together with sequel season pass
>game community slowly dies, the new game being the final nail in the coffin
>90 dollars down the shitter
>buy AAA game sequel for 70 bucks, season pass for 20 bucks
>repeat
TL;DR:
Why do people let publishers fuck them in the ass?
