I'm hoping it's not quite as action oriented as LL was. I liked the slower pace of 2033 and how it was going through a lot of desolate areas to finally come to a settlement for a rest.

The faster pace was needed because of the story. But yeah I miss the more slow pace of the first. Still love Last Light though.

But does it have some of the mechanics like 2033 did? I really missed having the throwing knives out in hand. It's nice seeing how the metal reflects and looks in the metro lights. And how they bounced off of metal, armor and mag pouches of enemies.
Though, I can understand that Artyom would get faster and better as he continues being a Ranger as time goes on. I already do like how his gear like the watch continues getting better and more high tech.

That and State of Decay 2 desu but I do remember hearing something about Metro become more open ended in its gameplay. Not so much in the way of STALKER and the like but something that wasn't as on the rails as the first two games. I loved Metro but some of the combat sections were so damn short that I never really get the time to appreciate the gunplay, hoping thats not the case with Exodus.

The new monster hunter game looks great. I'm just glad they're moving away from handhelds. Trying to control that shit on the 3ds made my hands numb, literally couldn't play it for more than an hour and a half at a time. It has worse controls than KI uprising.
