Should I buy a Wii U and hack it giving me access to the entire

Get it 1-2 years later when it's cheaper/bundled with games and has a decent library

If you care about handhelds you should have a switch. Whether that be now or later is up to you, but i think theres currently more than enough to make it a great system to carry.

But the wii u had a consistent library. Small but good. Its worth exploring. I dont think emulation has it down yet but i may be wrong. Make sure to play w101 and dk freeze. Also wooly world.
