Post games only you remembered and playedHard Mode - A game literally only played by you
Had to go into the far reaches of my hard drive for this pic
I very briefly played a demo of a fighting game being designed by David Sirlin at the lead programmer's apartment.
It was shit.
>>380213590
And I have this beta demo of Project Shobu which I have been sitting on for some years now. This game is now called Fearless Night.
me and that one other anon
>>380214971
Everyone played that shit back then.
Hover Race. hard to find good pictures of it
>>380215951
wrong i had it and played it.
https://youtu.be/N6tSydaL9dU
>>380215951
In 2007 I went to the Mexican village my dad was raised in. They'd gotten electricity about ten years prior to my visit. My cousin had a small crt, a ps1, and Lego rock raiders. I played A LOT of Lego rock raiders
best ever
>>380213590
not surprising considered this game literally got pulled from every shop shortly after it's release due to some lawsuit thing.
you can't even find this game anymore. collectors item even though it's shit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUfYd8xGVng
maybe not super obscure, but I never met anyone who played it.
guardians crusade
spider (ps1)
felony 411
metal arms glitch in the system
voodoo vince
40 winks
motor tune grand prix
jet force gemini
ooga booga
fury 3
stargunner
eat my dust
>>380215951
Holy shit I remember getting that for Christmas and loving it.
>>380217129
yooooo i loved this game. Friends loved it too, we went in hard on this shit. Was such a good hidden gem. I still have it sitting on my shelf
Adiboo was trippy af
>>380215951
i remember the fucking trailer for this game on a demo disc
>>380217205
>can't find it
It's like $3.50 at various second hand gaming shops in my town
>>380217661
That game was cash
>>380213590
I liked it.The respawn animation isn't a problem if you git gud.
I feel people have played this but have simply forgotten
>>380218671
Fuck, what was that called? I've been looking everywhere for that stupid game.
Cool concept, demo was fun, but the final game was a pile of dog shit I don't understand how they fucked up
>>380217559
played it
regretted it
I can guarantee none of you have played this.
>>380214796
Every bodies played that asshole.
this shit right here. it's a spinoff of an RTS that used to be popular, and actually I would score it pretty hard on the MMOs I've played but instances are empty as fuck. you're lucky if you find more than 5 people playing the one instance
I only remember vague bits of this from my childhood. Was it good, /v/?
>>380218869
oh yeah man, these were my shit.
had 3rd - 6th grade
>>380219449
bad reviews
ty the tasmanian tiger
>>380214464
This game is okay. Got it at a flea market after I heard it was a hidden gem
i win
>>380213590
>>380217559
>>380219060
This game was surprisingly popular.
Never seen this mentioned on /v/ in all the years I have been here. It was absolutely horrendous. Worst game I have ever played.
this game was the shit
>>380220367
Fucking tripcode...
>>380220256
3D n64 games from the 90s were all the rage at old Video Rental stores. The Snow level with the penguins had great music if my childhood memory serves me right.
>>380218869
Not OP but it's Stretch Panic
>>380218586
I played the shit out of thisdemo
Advent Rising
It's basically mass effect before mass effect, with some sorcery and "chosen one" business thrown in.
probably the only game in existence with a cheatsheet printed right on the damn cart.
Some of my old homemade vidya I made as a bored teenager in gamemaker
Did anyone ever play Aggressive Inline on the PS2/Xbox/GameCube? I had that shit on Xbox and thought it was pretty good as a kid, but then my friend brought over some CDs and let me download them into my hard drive. Come to find out, I could play songs from it on the in-game radio. Fucking excellent game. Also the build-your-own-skate park was cool. Wish more games had that as a feature. So many consoles have the option to burn CDs and so many games have boring soundtracks.
Rival Turf on SNES was another favorite of mine as a really little kid that apparently nobody else ever heard of.
>>380213590
Played and maxed the achievements, friendo. Honestly, I loved some of what it did, one of them being how your standard melee attack glides through weaker one hit kill mobs
this game was also the shit
There was this point and click puzzle game, the demo came with windows 95 and it had just the first 2 puzzles, one about drawing a Buddha and one about some Chinese abacus. Don't really remember the name
>>380213590
might as well post it again...
maybe in the 39th thread, someone else would've played it, or at least heard of it without googling it...
>>380213590
sorry, chumps
>>380214972
How was this game? I remember almost getting it a few years ago.
>>380222324
played it multiple times
>>380217661
Loved it, and my friend still brings it up every so often. Could never get into the sequel though
>>380213590
>>380222516

>>380215951
A LANDSLIDE HAS OCCURED
>>380217808
Fury 3 was better than Descent
>>380216332
Played that, easy to get the demo off of downloads.com back in the day.
Played this for countless hours when I was a kid
>>380218869
I had some glitched version of this game or something. Shit didn't work right.
>>380222820

i played that awful piece of shit the cutscene everytime you die is extruciating
>>380218063

>>380221427

>>380221589
I have the GC one, picked it up at a yard sale, but never actually put it in... gotta admit.
>>380224526
>>380222912
First game I ever played on the Dreamcast.
>>380223113

>>380224526
Played it as a kid. I remember it being extremely hard, never finished it.

PC Gamer demo disc, mid 90s.

>>380223485
I am fucking enticed.
This game was goddamn weird.
>>380222501
Not that guy, but I played some of the PSP version for about an hour and I found it clunky. Dunno if it's actually a fun game, but I liked the duck.
>tfw no track and field waifu
It was very satisfying
>>380225508

At least, games I have disc and crap for.
>>380213590
I'm actually curious if some anon has also played this.
This was a gift from my aunt
>>380217661
Loved the game, but I hated how the localizers screwed-up on everyone's age by 4 years. Vahn was 18, not 14, Noa was 14, not 10, and Gala was 22, not 18. Also odd that the Intro would only be played if you stayed on the Press Start screen for half a minute.
>>380222786
10/10 name.
>>380218586
By the same team that gave us ActRaiser, right?
Haven't played that in YEARS.
>>380213590
Was into mighty beanz back in elementary and middle school kids would trade them in the cafeteria this game was hot shite
I don't know if anyone here has even watched the show.
>>380223905
http://games.gamepressure.com/game.asp?ID=3424
Not really a game but a WC3 map.
It was basically an RPG on a huge map. Most people didn't play it because it took like 5-10 minutes to load the game because old hard drives and slow computers.
You could save your characters too which was revolutionary for that point in time for WC3 maps. They were saved in codes that were bound to your battle.net ID and you could load your character in to any session.
I still have saves from 2006,2008 and 2011. This is one of the few ones that I actually saved the entire screenshot rather than just the save code.
>>380213590you people were the reason as to why we never got a sequel
>>380234431
didn't play the game but I had the toys
pic related was my favorite, I also remember having the skeleton
This piece of crap that actually got a sequel somehow
>>380232961
my brother had this game, we both loved it
>>380233059
Actually it was a thing in Poland as well.
saga something something
a fantasy strategy game where to make units you had your people make babies
Hard mode.
>>380232961
I just beat the PSP version of this game
It just boils down to a series of side-stepping and headstabbing
7/10 game
It was weirdly fun.
Probably a little more popular than most
>>380234428
A black kid sold me this game for a $1 in hs. It was mediocre, thanks Thomas.
>>380213590
I made a "proof of concept" game and no one has played its latest version. It's a Metroidvania action-plat with momentum physics.
>>380234976
That one was an uncommon in the video game.
The game was cool because it allowed you to collect all the beanz without having to physically buy them.
>>380235098
This was my childhood defining game. This and Team Buddies.
>>380226924
I REMEMBER THIS SHIT.
fuck the fighting system though, all off timing n shit
Knack 10, can't show footage yet. Coming out early 2019.
>>380227498
I played this when i was like.... 12? Even 12 year old me knew it was a shitty ass licensed game. there was a point in it where you got split from your team in some kind of sandy tomb or some shit and you had to make it all the way through the map as the big guy and if you died once you had to restart and I died at the end and never played it again.
>>380235189
Poles are just retarded Russians

Best god game made
>>380214464
Shit game.

This game sucked
>>380235495
it was a great game
kys
>>380236430
wow that is nice music
sounds classic like good old pokemon music or final fantasy
i hope this game did well for that music alone
>>380236926
Better Dynasty Warriors than Dynasty Warriors, seriously, how was this never a thing that took off while DW did.
>>380236487
That game was fuckin magical. Heavy shit too for a young kid to play. Amazing.
>>380237050
I kek'd
>>380217661
I haven't played it but have a friend that goes nuts over that game.
>>380227498
See, the demo made it seem like it was pretty sweet, hard without being unfair, neat level design that incorporated all the characters, each character being unique, and I actually like Clive Barker. But man the game was total dogshit when it released, with the demo level being literally the best part.
I liked the finale though.

>>380235717
>Team Buddies
First time I have seen someone here that has played this game too, I bet your childhood was fantastic playing it. Such a shame that game went unnoticed and became a rare piece.
>>380213590
The game I wrote in Turbo Pascal when I was 16. There was a black screen and colored circles spawned at random positions on the screen, you had to put a dot in the circle using arrow keys. When you did it, it would make a sound and disappear. There also was a timer ticking down and if you didn't get to the circle in time you'd lose the game.
literally i am the only one who played this...

>>380221658
I'm not your friendo, boyo.
I'm sure other people here have played this, I really wish it had got sequels.
echoplex
This game was pretty cool. It was kinda like pokemon colosseum but you would paint your own monsters to use and give them different abilities/stats depending on how you made them.
>>380213590
I want to learn programming so I can make more like this.
>>380213590
I want to remake this game.

>>380235627

and if he doesn't collect them for long enough you just fucking start dying
even during vehicle sections
let's have 800 vehicle sections
1995, PS1 just comes out with Lone Soldier, Twisted Metal. and this...Loaded. In the 90's, this was perfect. Bloody, Super Violent, it was the Future! Designed by (The) Garth Ennis and Gregg Staples, with artwork that looked like Simon Bisley's (Lobo). This Shooter was, while not great and very repetitive, perfect for its time. Anyone else play it?
>>380238558
Back in the days, all the PC gaming magazines had huge features. Peter Molyneux was a huge name back then. It even got a sequel. Still a good game though.

it hurts a little knowing that I never beat it and the download for it is gone from vector

>>380240650
I played it as a kid. It was a lot of fun.
>>380240954
This was really amazing. The Scrye spell scared the shit out of me.
This game was pretty dope. I wish they'd make a modern sequel for a handheld or something. Waifus, dungeon crawling, monster breeding and gear upgrading. All the good stuff.
To this day i still dont know how the library in my town had this game since it was released only in america (european here)
>>380241761

MISS PEACHES IIIIIS CAT FOOOOOOD
Alright guys, help me out.
When I was around 7 or 8, some family friends got me a computer game to celebrate my first holy communion.
It was barely a game, kinda like Carmen Sandiego where you have a scene from the bible and you click on different parts of the picture to hear voice clips and have something explained and described to you.
I only played it for like an hour because I had nothing better to do and it was awful, but some of the voice lines were gold, like the entire scene with manna falling down from heaven and everyone moaning as they stuffed their faces.
It was called Tiny Tom or Tom Thumb or something like that, and you had to find him in each scene.
Does anyone else know about this game? Do you have the name? It was just some Christian shovelware but it had some real untapped meme potential.
>>380241827
Well, there was the GBC version (which is the only version I played) but I doubt that counts

kek fuck your mom. Hope that bitch got what was coming to her.
I picked this game up from Poundland for, as you can probably guess, a pound.
There is one video of it on YouTube.
You have to hop across floating platforms to the goal, but there are enemies (badniks?) in the way walking in predefined paths so you have to hop around them, or you can take them out using "Bag Bombs". The protagonist was voice acted and I did really enjoy the way he would say "Bag Bombs!" when he picked them up.
I'm fairly certain the game was impossible to complete due to a late game glitch where an enemy would be impervious to weapons and stood in the middle of the path.
>>380263074
Are you telling me you haven't enjoyed her films such as Blaze (1989), Leap of Faith (1992), Raising Cain (1993), Intersection (1994), Cobb (1994), Jungle 2 Jungle (1997), Gods and Monsters (1998), Mystery, Alaska (1999), or Play It to the Bone (1999)?
>>380263175

Couldn't figure it out though as a kid.
people probably played this game but I felt it was obscure enough
>>380213590

>>380263716
Another Poundland game.
In this one, you play not as the sleepwalker, but a disembodied skeletal hand placing items around him to guide him to his bed. He walks in a straight line unless his path is interrupted.
The game fails if he falls off a floating platform, or walks into a monster and fucking dies.
There is an ISO available for this on isozone if you want to try it.
Rented this game from blockbuster and Hollywood video atleast 5 times never could find it to buy. I think this game is what got me into RTS stuff.
>>380213590
This was an amazing game, I played it several times.
The last level was weak but the rest was great.
>>380234754
>yfw when you lost 15 gb of wc3 maps due to faulty hdd.
I had some maps which were hosted only once. By their creator.
I had probably every map hosted o. Eu except Dota. Fuck Dota.
Dropped the campaign when I found out that the enemies have unlimited resources.
Might try it out another time.
I can't be the only one who remembers this gem.
>>380264189
Forgot to say, this game fucking terrified me for a number of reasons - art of the sleepwalker, the fact you're playing as a skeleton hand, the monster designs, the aesthetic of the levels (it was in a haunted castle), etc.
I picked up this game at a computer fair with my dad quite a few years ago.
I absolutely loved it. The graphics were, in my opinion, fantastic. The gameplay felt solid. Great selection of cars and some decent customisation. Nice soundtrack. Demolition derbies. Track customisation.
I played it a few years back and it felt boring and empty, though.
I heard there was a remake coming out but apparently the publishers are just some dumb europeans who don't like commitment.
>>380227312
Rented that and shitsux.
I swear, no one I know has ever heard of it.
>>380264802
Another racing game that I played the shit out of but have never seen discussed online.
A remarkably tight little racing game with a wide selection of cars, despite being just one manufacturer.
Really had to work to unlock the faster stuff but the payoff was great to finally pace it in the Ford GT.
Got a few new carfus from it too but it was too long ago for me to remember what they were.

>>380264354
I'm currently playing it at the moment and I like the game and it unique charm to it. Jesus christ the ice level is just dragging on longer than the lava level.
There was this one game I played on the N64, and all I can remember is that you could visit other planets in our solar system, you could land on them and walk around, and I think there was combat, but my memory is way to vague to recall anything, I remember being spooked as all hell playing it

>>380265223

You're absolutely correct. There was a game called "Adiboo in 3D land" or something as blatantly obvious. That's the version I played.
There was also Adiboo Too, which was intended for a younger audience, that was a lot more basic
There was also Adi, aimed at slightly older children in certain years.
