If we're being fair, stealth was always an option in prior games (nobody used it though). But back to your point, everybody is worried because (as you said) it doesn't look like its about DPSing monsters down anymore. Change is scary, especially when you have Capcom at the helm.

So (from what we've seen), less stabby stabby, more tactics and cinematic shots. Also that glowy bug thing better just be an expendable item like Psychoserum.

I think the cinematic shots were really just for the trailer. You can never take a trailer without a HUD at face value. In any case, I'm more excited about all the cool shit we did see. The monster animations are fucking incredible. Swinging around looks like it'll be fun as shit. The graphyx are really nice. And it's monster hunter on the motherfucking PC. I'm hype. Truth be told, there wasn't a whole lot we could gleam from the trailer, but seeing as we're getting more gameplay footage next week, I can forgive it.
