Sony will win E3 like the last few years, definitely. But the REAL win will be off the backs of the Japanese exclusive games they reveal rather than their first-party AAA offerings. Days Gone, Last of Us 2, and God of War all have the same core theme: Third person single-player games with a strong focus on "cinematic" moments, realistic graphics, and "the feels". People will cheer for them, sure, but it'll be potential titles like Devil May Cry 5, Bayonetta 3, or a new FromSoft game that will give them the victory.
